Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities for FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), FOH (Front of House), and BOH (Back of House) for our restaurant operations. This role will lead a team of Buyers, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, supplier management, and timely delivery across multiple units. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the restaurant industry supply chain and excels at vendor negotiation, project coordination, and multinational sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage procurement activities for all FF&E, FOH, and BOH requirements across new openings, remodels, and operational needs.
  2. Supervise and mentor a team of Senior and Junior Buyers, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
  3. Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, availability, and pricing alignment with company standards.
  4. Coordinate closely with Design, Construction, Operations, and Finance teams to align purchasing with project timelines and budget constraints.
  5. Source new vendors and materials that align with company quality and sustainability standards.
  6. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, alternative products, and competitive pricing.
  7. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors and ensure compliance with company policies.
  8. Manage inventory levels and delivery schedules to prevent delays and overstocking.
  9. Maintain accurate procurement records, tracking orders, shipments, and cost-saving initiatives.
  10. Ensure adherence to food safety and health regulations in product sourcing and storage.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5+ years of procurement experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry, with a strong focus on FF&E, FOH, and BOH.
  3. Proven experience leading procurement teams, including performance management and training.
  4. Strong negotiation, budgeting, and vendor management skills.
  5. Deep knowledge of restaurant equipment, materials, and operational needs.
  6. Language: English C1 or C2 (Advanced - Proeficent)

Salary:

  • 50,000 a 60,000 MXN monthly
  • SGMM
  • Schedule Work: Monday to Friday 8am to 6:00pm and Saturday - 8am to 1:00pm
